Anastasia Yarygina is an Associate in Competition / Antitrust and Foreign Direct Investment Regulation Practices at ALRUD Law Firm.
Anastasia advises clients on merger control, strategic investment regulation, and a wide range of other antitrust issues. Anastasia has extensive experience in supporting companies investing in strategic industries, specifically during disclosure of information about their beneficiaries, beneficial owners and controlling persons (UBO disclosure). In addition, Anastasia accompanies clients during pre-closing clearance reviews of transactions, by the Government Commission, as well as during post-closing notifications.
Anastasia has experience in representing clients during antitrust disputes in arbitrazh courts, as well as preparing expert opinions on merger control and FDI issues.
Anastasia's experience includes negotiating a variety of merger-control transactions with FAS Russia (Federal Antimonopoly Service), including M&A / JVs.
Anastasia conducts antimonopoly compliance trainings for clients,as well as compliance audits of companies.
Anastasia's experience also includes advising on the competition rules of the Eurasian Economic Union. Anastasia has experience in advising on the application of antimonopoly norms of the Russian trade legislation, as well as on issues of tariff regulation. Anastasia's clients include companies from such spheres as pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, the oil and gas industry, investment and banking, automotive and electronics industries, construction, alternative energy, satellite communications, television broadcasting, film production and others.
Anastasia joined ALRUD in July 2019. She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Anastasia has a bachelor's and a master's degrees in law.
Anastasia is a member of the International Bar Association.
