Margarita Egiazarova Speaks at AEB Webinar on Key Trends in Labor Dispute Litigation

On April 30, 2025, the Labour Law Subcommittee of the Association of European Businesses (AEB) held an open webinar titled “Key Trends in Labor Dispute Litigation”.

Margarita Egiazarova, PhD in Law and Partner of ALRUD’s Labour Law Practice, delivered a keynote presentation: “Investigation – Termination – Litigation: How Judicial Practice is Evolving”.

Her presentation focused on major trends in labor disputes, internal investigation procedures, decision-making by internal commissions, and new approaches to holding employees accountable — disciplinary, financial, and otherwise. Special attention was given to the evolving standards courts apply when reviewing the legality of dismissals and the quality of supporting documentation.

Employers increasingly operate in a legal environment where even formally correct dismissals may be challenged if internal procedures were opaque or poorly substantiated. Today, it is not enough to follow the letter of the law — it is critical to build an internal decision-making framework that can stand up in court. noted Margarita Egiazarova

During the session, Margarita discussed real case studies and shared practical examples of language and legal positions currently used in judicial practice.
