Vassily Rudomino on private funds growth for Pravo.ru

On December 5, 2025, Pravo.ru published an article “From personal funds to release of assets: top requests from law firm clients in 2025”.

In 2025 requests from Russian law firm clients shifted towards sustainable capital management: issues of assets protection, intergenerational transfer of business, and creation of sanctions-resistant structures came to the fore. Personal fund became one of the main instruments – after the reform in the summer 2024 (simplification of registration, strengthening of confidentiality requirements, introduction of tax benefits) its application has grown from niche to mass. According to Pravo-300 rating data, private client practice showed a climb of 25.3% in the number of applications – this is one of the most high growth rates among all the sectors.
